This Loan Advisor Assistant is responsible for assisting Loan Advisors in the smooth and timely completion of all phases of a mortgage loan. Assists assigned Loan Advisor's with a variety of business development and administrative tasks. Provides necessary support to increase production levels. Answers phones, prepares correspondence and documents, and provides administrative, business development and marketing support. Works with pertinent financial information, including loan applications, credit reports, disclosures, transcripts, and loan program information. An individual in this position supports multiple Loan Advisor's.
Client interface and coordination of meetings, logistics, and problem solving. Schedules appointments with clients, realtors and vendors –manages advisor’s calendar, effectively communicating and managing client timelines. Update and maintain database of clients weekly.
Organizes mortgage application documentation; ordering credit reports, appraisals, and title reports ensuring accurate and timely completion of mortgage loan applications and other documents.
Administrative work includes requesting and reviewing documents from clients, sending documents for signature and monitoring receipt of same, organizing documents and working with advisor and internal staff with file management.
Coordinates with processing team and marketing staff for marketing projects.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Complete all required compliance training. Maintain knowledge of and adhere to Flagstar's internal compliance policies and procedures. Take responsibility to keep up to date with changing regulations and policies.
