Training Specialist Security & PR Recovery w/ Medical Expertise with Security Clearance
* Delivers Personnel Recovery Employee Education, Management, Prevention, and Training and PR Officer (PRO) training in accordance with Course of Instruction (COI) documents.
* Delivers other security training programs and courses, as directed by the PR Program Coordinator and Senior Training Specialist.
* Assist in developing training objectives in accordance with PR requirements.
* Assist in developing COI documents, training aids, and lesson plans.
* Assists PR Operations & Equipment Coordinator and PR Communications Coordinator in maintaining PR equipment inventory, including PR Communications, Personnel Survival Kits (PSK), and Individual First Aid Kits (IFAK), and associated training team equipment.
* Creates individual lesson plans in support of COI and Mission-specific requirements. Produce required training reports in support of training deliverables, as directed by the PR Program Coordinator and Senior Training Specialist.
* Produces required training reports in support of training deliverables.
Required Qualifications: * Providing and training emergency, tactical, or field operations medical care. This may include military or first responder experience such as tactical medic, corpsman, EMT, paramedic, or similar experience that is in the field and not solely as assigned to a clinic or hospital.
* Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sensitivity to various issues.
* Time management and organizational skills.
* Base knowledge in safety and security principles.
* Active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret clearance.
* Must have and maintain a valid U.S Passport.
* Must have and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Required Experience A minimum of five (5) years of experience in delivering emergency or tactical medical training in the military or a first responder role, and three years of specialized experience in developing and providing tactical medical training to civilian employees. Required Education * High School Diploma.
Security Clearance Requirements: * Candidates MUST have an active Secret clearance to be considered.
Work Location / Schedule: * When not deployed, this position requires a minimum of 3 days per week on site at the client location in Springfield, VA. Telework is generally authorized for 2 days per week. Travel Requirements: * This position requires international travel, on a short-term TDY basis.
