Objective of the Role

The Creative Manager position is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and visionary individual to steer the creative direction of the company's products and features. Reporting to the Brand and Merchandising Director, the Creative Manager will be at the helm of crafting captivating messaging and positioning, developing innovative marketing concepts, and ensuring alignment with brand guidelines. This role is pivotal in driving business growth through strategic collaborations with Marketing, Sales, Merchandising, and Design teams.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and steer creative briefs, content, and the creative direction for advertising, social media, and internal communications, encompassing print, digital, and video.
  • Supervise the creation of customer-facing marketing assets to buttress product storytelling, such as product videos, training materials, store signage, and website copy.
  • Coach, manage, and bolster the graphic design and social media teams.
  • Orchestrate the go-to-market strategy and execution for product launches and feature releases.
  • Cooperate with sales, design, and management to foster brand coherence, messaging, and positioning.
  • Probe into product and market opportunities and devise innovative strategies to propel business across retail and ecommerce channels.
  • Remain abreast with digital media trends, platform updates, marketing trends, competitor research, and best practices.
  • Analyze customer insights, consumer trends, market analysis, and marketing best practices to formulate successful marketing strategies.
  • Plan and oversee all photo and video shoots, develop shot lists, and manage the organization of all deliverables.
Requirements
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a minimum of 5 years of pertinent marketing experience, or 5+ years of creative direction or graphic design experience.
  • Full proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Exceptional traditional and digital design skills, including typography, layout, and packaging design.
  • Experience in integrating marketing plans across various channels, such as ecommerce, retail, paid, social, etc.
  • A robust background in product marketing; experience in apparel, outdoor, or rodeo is a plus.
  • Experience in conceptualizing and directing photo and video shoots.
  • Familiarity with media channels, including social, video, and TV.
  • Acquaintance with Google Analytics and digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Self-starter with the ability to build programs from the ground up.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, make decisions, and solve problems.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; approachable and affable.
  • Appreciated previous experience: Wrangler, Levi Strauss & Co., Ariat International, Justin Brands, Stetson, Cavender's, Boot Barn, Cinch, Montana Silversmiths, Rock & Roll Cowboy
