The Maternal Child Health Director will be part of a community hospital that has been recognized for its comprehensive care programs: emergency services, radiology, rehabilitation, laboratory services, general surgery, orthopedics and pediatrics. The Maternal Child Health Director will be reporting to the CNO and will be leading a team of labor and delivery supervisors and a manager along with a team of tenured OB Technologists and Registered Nurses. The Maternal Child Health Director will also have the opportunity to work with Childbirth Educators and a skilled team of Certified Nurse Midwives.
The Maternal Child Health Director will oversee a department that has an average of 100 deliveries each year in this newly renovated facility. In this supportive environment the The Maternal Child Health Director will get to work closely with an exceptional team of Labor and Delivery Registered Nurses, Mother/Baby, Postpartum Nurses and a dedicated team of Technologists.

The Maternal Child Health Director will have clinical and administrative responsibilities for the Labor and Delivery Department. The Maternal Child Health Director will provide direction and evaluation of patient care delivery, coordinate activities related to labor, recovery, postpartum and the baby nursery. In this role the Perinatal Director will act as a subject matter expert for the labor and delivery team related to clinical and non clinical competencies. Administrative duties for the Maternal Child Health Director will include managing organizational performance standards, maintaining budgeting and developing community outreach through women’s health initiatives and education.
