Description/Responsibilities:

• Work on special projects, conferences, VOD projects and produce high-profile segments for live streams.
• Handle all aspects of booking and producing guest segments: editorial, pre-interviews, writing interview questions/talking points and field shoots.
• Develop relationships with news makers and business executives, their representatives as well as story pitching and research

Requirements:

• Knowledge of financial news Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience.
• Research skills are essential to this position.
• Expertise in video editing and/or DSLR camera operation a plus.
• Ability to multi-task efficiently, execute quickly, think broadly, and have strong editorial awareness and judgment.
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills are essential to this role.
• Must be able to work a flexible/extended schedule as needed, under deadline on both field shoots and in a studio/office environment.
• Knowledge of social media platforms and best practices and how to contribute to that.
• Ability to collaborate well with internal and external stakeholders.
• Team player who enjoys working in a fast paced environment.

Additional Job Details:Hybrid role in which person is required to be in NYC whenever needed.
