Our non-profit client is looking for a Benefits Manager to help oversee all benefit programs for all US-based and international staff. The Benefits Manager will help to administer the US and offshore retirement programs. Previous experience implementing a wellness program is a huge plus! As the Benefits Manager you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include but are not limited to the following: review current health, life and other related insurance vendors with a view to reduce the number of vendors, assist with new hire orientations and answering basic benefits questions for new hires , provides benefit plan interpretation, guidance and counsel to employees, administers the retirement program, compiles and analyzes and reports data including employee, plan financials for strategic benefits planning and evaluation. Familiarity with FMLA, ADA and state and local laws is a must. You will also assist with leave administration and draft company leave policies. We are ideally looking for a candidate with at least seven years of progressive benefits experience. This position is hybrid currently, but will require you to report into the West LA office on occasion. The ideal candidate will have previous NGO experience, be an excellent communicator and have strong critical thinking skills.
