The Customer Service Expediter gathers and assembles parts and kits for shipment to the customer and orders parts not in stock following all items noted on the original sales order.



Essential Job Duties

  Process customer orders by pulling available parts and kit to designated area

  Obtain required authorization to order either purchased parts or manufactured parts

  Print various reports to verify jobs in process where follow-up is needed

  Process all Returned Material Authorization (RMA)

  Return parts to shelves from cancelled orders

  Keep supervisor informed of any issues and all Hot Orders

  Transfer material between departments using carts, pallet jack or forklift

  Fills orders from storage areas and delivers to designated department

Other Duties

  Verify available stock status for customers

  Perform other related duties as assigned


   High school diploma or equivalent

   One year related experience preferably in a manufacturing environment

  Proficient using a computer, Word and Excel; knowledge of M2M software preferred

  Ability to operate pallet jack or forklift following all safety rules

  Demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow through

  Ability to adhere to ethical principles that reflect the highest standards of organizational and individual behavior and take responsibility for own actions

  Possess effective organizational and time management skills, be detail oriented, manage competing priorities for multiple projects and consistently meet all deadlines

  Valid California driver license and acceptable driving record required

  Must be available to work Saturday rotation
