What you’ll do as an Inspector

  • You will complete high level tasks in support of an assigned department/project.
  • You will complete labor intensive tasks in support of an assigned department/project.
  • You will complete daily production reports to document work performed.
  • You will read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project.

What you’ll need

  • To be at least 18 years old
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • Have a valid, unrestricted driver's license, including an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company
  • Experience as a mechanic
  • Ability to operate manual and mechanical equipment necessary to complete jobs

Preferred Qualifications

  • You have a high school diploma or equivalent
  • You have good working knowledge of telecommunications construction; familiarity with aerial lift devices, utility lines/poles, and various other telecommunications construction equipment, and the functionality of each; ability to identify and troubleshoot problems.
  • You may have 3 or more years of inspection experience.

Physical abilities and exposures

  • Routinely: Use hands and fingers for fine motor skills and more, bend, squat, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, reach with hands and arms. Must be able to lift 50 pounds. Some specific vision abilities are required for close vision and distant vision, color vision, peripheral, and depth perception. Position does have some outside work environment requirements and this will vary throughout the day.
  • Occasionally: Lift up to 100 lbs as needed with or without assistance.

Salary Range: $15.00 - $18.00 / hour (based on experience)
