Job Responsibilities
Pennoni is currently looking for a Transportation Division (Area) Manager with experience consistent, but not limited to:

  • Delegate/assign project tasks to responsible PMs with regular coordination - scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Ability to lead and manage locally administered transportation projects and assign work tasks as needed.
  • Mentor/supervise office staff and conduct performance appraisals.
  • Find, direct, and participate in proposal development and interviews.
  • Responsible for business development, project management, quality, staffing, personnel, client relations, financial performance, business plans, etc.
  • Responsible for the performance of strategic growth of the services; ensuring profitability; quality and maintaining an excellent reputation. Effective business development and organization management of leadership are critical.
  • Coordinates with others in the preparation of regional budgets and financial reports.
  • Coordinates with accounting for billing reports.

Required Attributes

  • Minimum Years of Relevant Work Experience: 15+ years of related experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Required License: P.E. license
  • Computer Skills: Microsoft word, Microstation, AutoCAD and technical analytical software relevant to the area of expertise.
  • Proven ability with client and relationship building and ability to secure new work and continuity with ongoing projects.
  • Exhibit Pennoni's high level of integrity and ethical business values.

Preferred Attributes

  • Strong technical skills and ability to manage and mentor staff.
  • Strong client coordination and teaming efforts
  • Established history of management for both staff and client projects
