Your Role and Responsibilities
Bluewolf, and IBM company, is a global Salesforce consulting agency that builds digital solutions designed to create results. Now. We serve a community of future-focused industry leaders dedicated to building the next generation of digital experiences. We are looking to fill the role of Engagement Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to some of our largest accounts. We’re looking for someone who will leverage a strong consultative approach to build and nurture meaningful relationships with our valued clientele. Specific responsibilities include:
  • Client Management and Business Development:
    • Foster, develop, and expand solid and trusting relationships with clients and stakeholders.
    • Develop a complete understanding of account needs to deliver transformative solutions that achieve successful business outcomes.
    • Partner with Strategic Account Managers to qualify and drive opportunities and assess project scope.
    • Deliver strategic business reviews to educate clients on key platform trends and considerations.
    • Prepare for and lead discovery meetings and workshops with clients to discover pain points and business objectives.
    • Be client advocate to resolve and manage escalations to ensure client partnership endures
  • Developing Contracts and Statements of Work:
    • Collaborate with practice leaders and other experts throughout Bluewolf and IBM to develop comprehensive statements of work (SOWs) that articulate solutions, deliverables, identify potential risks and bound scope
    • Lead internal delivery and commercial contract risk reviews sessions.
    • Present SOWs to customers to ensure alignment and understanding.
  • Delivery Execution and Risk Management:
    • Collaborate with the Delivery team to transition project expectations, solution, and approach
    • Work with Staffing to identify project team members, vet skills and qualifications to ensure fit.
    • Provide leadership, strategy, oversight, and guidance to client and Bluewolf project teams throughout the entire project lifecycle

Required Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree or MBA in Business or related field
  • 5-10 years of Director-level consulting experience or relevant management experience
  • Minimum 2 years experience with technology implementations within global, enterprise level companies
  • 2 years of working for a top-tier consulting firm developing business strategies for clients or equivalent experience
  • Has prior domain experience in sales, sales operations and/or customer support, including experience in Sales/Business Development cycles providing solution based service proposals
  • Knowledge of Salesforce platform or other CRM
  • Experience with using tools like Jira, Service Now, Git, Jenkins, Selenium (ideally someone who has worked in a large enterprise IT environment)
  • Experience working w/ offshore developers

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise
  • Salesforce certifications preferred with 5 years experience using/implementing Salesforce technology
  • 8 years of general consulting or equivalent business experience
  • 3 years experience driving sales of strategy engagements
  • In-depth experience working with businesses in at least 3 industries
  • High level knowledge of enterprise architecture (beyond salesforce, how it interacts w/ backend systems) - use of various middleware and integration tools
  • Experience working in/with or establishing a COE model or similar within an enterprise organization
  • Media & Entertainment Industry knowledge at a high level would also be extremely valuable (similar for Ad Sales or Media Rights)
  • Must be based in LA - willing to work onsite a couple days a week
