this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to work alongside the Message Gateway team. The Senior Software Engineer will work in a team environment with solution architects and developers on interpretation / translation of creative designs into technical designs, and subsequently into a robust implementation

In this role, you will:
  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff
Required Qualifications, US:
  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4 + years of experience in writing relational database queries for stored procedures, query optimization and performance tuning
  • 4+ years of GitHub/Jenkins experience
  • 4+ years of Java Development Experience
  • 2 + Years of experience with SWIFT Standard/Message Types
  • 2+ years of Agile/SCRUM methodology experience
  • 2+ years experienced in Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) methodologies.
  • 1+ Experience working in Payments.
  • 1+ year of Autosys experience.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 2+ year of Volante Volpay and Volante Designer experience
  • 2+ Year of development experience with RabbitMQ and Zookeeper
  • Experience working with PCF, Azure or AWS
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work on call as assigned
