In 1993, Spectrum established its Correctional Treatment Division to provide specialized treatment to offenders with a history of chronic substance abuse and criminal behavior. Using a cognitive-behavioral skill building and therapeutic community approach, Spectrum's correctional treatment programs teach participants practical ways to achieve a law abiding life, free from drugs and crime. Today, Spectrum provides a range of services to more than 6,500 criminal offenders each day, in community-based settings and correctional institutions throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Georgia, Tennessee, Virginia and Washington State.
The RSAT Clinical Supervisor oversees all clinical activities of the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment (RSAT) Program. This position assists the Program Director in the direct management of all aspects of the RSAT Program at the assigned site and acts as the Director in Program Director's absence. They also work closely with the Georgia Department of Corrections (GDC) personnel, other institutional vendors, and off-site Spectrum staff to ensure delivery of services. Must be able to work the hours required to meet the business needs of the organization including the ability to work more than 40 hours in a work week.
Schedule for this position is Monday-Thursday.
- Must have supervisory and substance abuse experience.
- Must have experience working in treatment setting.
- Must be able to be a CCS within 1 year of hire.
- Certified Clinical Supervisor (CCS),LPC, LAPC, LMFT, LCSW or have Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor Certification from GACA, NAADAC and/or ICRC
- Correctional experience.
