Service Technician Job Summary

As a tow truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for the repair and installation of lights and accessories of customer and company tow trucks and trailers.

Service Technician Job Responsibilities

• Diagnosis of fundamental, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Asist with estimating repair times as needed
• Welding and fabricating
• Hydraulic hose repair and cylinder replacement
• Repair of fundamental, electrical, and hydraulic issues
• Communicate with customers as needed
• Repair and adjust clutches, starters, alternators, brakes, fuel, replace hydraulic cylinders, winch repairs, cable replacement, basic maintenance and cooling systems
• Sharing knowledge with other Technicians
• Follow Technician Repair SOP's

Service Technician Job Qualifications

• Provide your own tools
• Strong communication skills
• Valid driver's license
• Ability to stand, kneel, bend, and reach for extended periods of time
• Knowledge of diesel and gas mechanics
• Provide personal tools to do the job
