Role Summary: SPS is looking to fill an open Systems Engineer position to support our growing Kofax Imaging environment at one of our key client sites for global support and solutions development. SPS uses Kofax to provide a variety of solutions around document imaging, data harvesting and data review. The system is critical to many business processes. The Systems Engineer will work at a Client office location.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure and support implementation utilizing the Kofax platform
  • Work with integrated solutions using Kofax TotalAgility (KTA), Kofax Import Connector, and other related Kofax technologies
  • Cultivate, maintain, and enhance systems based on business requirements using approved technology standards
  • Assist with the creation of technical documentation, design overviews, functional requirements and operating procedures supporting the build-out of client solutions on the Kofax platform
  • Proactive training to enhance current Kofax skillset and investigate ways to learn new proficiencies
  • Research, diagnose, troubleshoot and identify solutions to resolve issues related to application use, design and configuration
  • Effectively communicate technical issues, design ideas, product roadmap, and upgrade/maintenance needs to various levels of the organization

Required Skills
  • Familiarity with Kofax platform, preferably in a cloud environment
  • Azure cloud services and architecture
  • Knowledge of SQL and JavaScript a plus
  • General networking understanding
  • Programming and development proficiencies (.NET, C#, C/C++, Python, Web Services, HTML, etc.) is preferred
  • General understanding of OCR scanning a plus

Required Experience
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer information systems or related experience
  • Familiar with Scanning and document processing
  • Knowledge of image file types,(PDF, TIF, JPEG, etc.)
  • SQL and database experience (Oracle, SQL Server)

Physical Demands:
  • Ability to stand, and/or sit for an extended period of time.
  • Manual dexterity required for operating office machinery (phone, scanner, PC, etc.).
  • Physically able to talk on the phone and input data simultaneously.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, ability to adjust focus and ability to match or may include detection of differences between colors, including shades of color and brightness.
