SNI Financial is partnered with a publicly traded company that is hiring a Corporate Staff Accountant. This role will have a focus on performing month-end close processes and supporting new process implementations. Perform month-end close procedures
Prepare general ledger reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
Prepare variance analysis to budget and forecast
Support annual budgeting process by compiling information
Analyze financial statements, department reports, and management reports
Reconcile corporate banking transactions
Work closely with the Treasury, Finance, and Tax departments
Record and maintain fixed asset purchases
Respond to various queries and requests from external/internal auditors
Required to understand, guide and implement effective internal controls to meet Sarbanes Oxley requirements
Assist in the process of designing and implementing new processes within the corporate accounting department
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
1-2 years of corporate accounting or audit experience
