The Sr. Sales Excellence Manager will be responsible for driving the transformation around our E2E sales forecasting processes and leading the rhythm of the business (ROB) to drive success toward our financial objectives. As a key member of the Sales Operations team, this role will partner closely with Sales, Finance, and business leadership, you are accountable for establishing forecast infrastructure, processes, engagement, visibility and metrics that enable a consistent forecast review cadence supporting leaders to coach and improve seller performance and driving accountability to business outcomes.

An analytical mindset translating data into insights and action will be pivotal for this role. The ideal candidate is someone who is operationally savvy, able to connect the dots around operational interdependencies, and always striving to improve territory, district, regional, and business sales performance and predictability.  

A day in the life
The Sr. Sales Excellence Manager will be measured on the following deliverables:

  • Lead the business strategy and implementation around E2E Sales Forecast Operations – Infrastructure, Processes, Metrics, Cadence (Rhythm of the Business RoB)
  • Establish standard scalable structure and processes to effectively enable optimized forecasting
  • Partner with sales, IT, business operations and other functions to enhance pipeline and forecast structure within
  • Create the playbook and drive outreach, training and support to establish an optimized RoB
  • Partner with sales leadership to build / review / communicate the rolling forecast, as well as performance to the latest view
  • Own and lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly sales forecast reviews with Sales Vice President and Regional Sales Directors
  • Drive sales discipline and excellence in execution resulting in a healthy, predictable, rapidly growing and scaling business
  • Turn insights into actions to drive business growth; build organizational execution capabilities through data-driven insights that connect sales activity to organizational OKRs
  • Help run the business; coach and support sales managers on driving business conversion
  • Run the regular rhythm of the business, including weekly latest views, deep dives, pipeline reviews; drive actions out of all forums to closure
  • Establish and review key pipeline and forecast KPIs, and analytics drawing insightful conclusions supporting accountability with leadership
  • Strive toward predictive forecast analytics to improve line of sight to business outcomes
  • Partner with Business and Sales operations to increase overall execution excellence and capabilities

What we need from you

  • 8+ years’ experience in building developing and running sales processes, sales operations in a fast growing, quickly scaling business
  • 5+ years of program or project management experience in fast-growing organizations with a track record of “getting things done” on-time with sound change management and transformation leadership
  • Experience leading and managing the sales forecast cadence
  • Strong understanding of Sales processes and how they are enabled through CRM tools
  • Strong cross group communicator / collaborator; ability to communicate effectively with Sales Leadership, Finance and other key stakeholders, strong influencing skills tailored to the audience needs
  • Self-starter thriving in environments with multiple cross-functional stakeholders with different charters

Preferred Skills & Experiences

  • Salesforce certification/experience
  • Experience with Sales and Marketing operations
  • Experience in a fast paced subscription sales environment
  • Tableau and SQL preferred
  • Six Sigma GB certification a plus
