The PACU Nurse Manager will work closely with other leaders within the facility to coordinate the delivery of patient care. The RN Nurse Manager will promote the practice of professional nursing to medical staff, hospital staff and the governing body while also participating in the development, monitoring and reporting of process improvement activities. The PACU Nurse Manager will be supported by administrative and medical staff, while directly reporting to the Nurse Director of the Surgical and Perianesthesia unit.
The PACU Nurse Manager will use their clinical communication skills to consistently meet and exceed the expectations of their patients. Additionally, expertise in developing and utilization of resources to fulfill those expectations will be an important skill.
