Job Summary:  

The Digital Email Analyst will play an important role in helping our customers stay informed while helping them manage their energy needs.  We are looking for an intermediate level marketer with an entrepreneurial spirit to help scale our email communications.  This role will partner across marketing (brand and creative), digital, and product to execute on various customer retention and business acquisition campaigns.  Email is a HUGE part of this role, so we need someone who LOVES emails and email strategy, has experience working with Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and is able to execute flawless email campaigns with great attention to details

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

•    Support Direct Energy marketing email requests 
•    Master email planning, coordination, production and operational processes from campaign inception to deployment
•    Lead email coordination – schedule meetings with stakeholders, collaborate with content and design teams, collaborate with 3rd party agency and learn to build Salesforce data architecture per mailing (automations, data extensions and HTML email templates) in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, collaborate on and execute campaign management targeting requests, complete reporting
•    Ensure email production and deployment from Salesforce Market Cloud are executed flawlessly 
•    Collaborate on and ensure email calendar and strategy roadmaps are up to date
•    Understand customer journeys and communication in order to optimize content, design, and drive increased customer engagement 
•    Develop and keep a pulse on program controls as necessary
•    Additional Marketing exposure is available including SMS, Digital and Traditional Marketing opportunities to help grow your skill set for the right candidate. 

Working Conditions:

•    100% Remote
•    Occasional requirement to travel for yearly planning sessions
•    Some overtime required as special projects arise

Minimum Requirements: 

•    Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
•    Work Experience: 1-3 years digital or marketing experience

Preferred Qualifications: 

•    Demonstrated strong communication skills, including writing, editing, reporting and being able to collaborate cross functionally across the organization
•    Illustrate an exceptional attention to detail
•    Proficiency in project management, prioritization of work and organizational sk
•    Ability to manage and produce an end-result with multiple parties involved
•    Ability to thrive in a fast-paced dynamic environment
•    Relationship builder and inquisitive collaborator
•    Someone who likes to ask questions, listens, constantly seeks small improvements and is not afraid to speak up and share their ideas.
