Instrumentation Fitter and Technician job in Cantonment at Express Employment Professionals - Pensacola, FL

Job Summary: We are recruiting for a local industrial company that is in need of an Instrumentation Fitter and Technician. This person will fabricate custom control systems cabinets, skids and buildings, install DCS, PLC, and electric equipment, power up electrical systems and perform instrument loop checks, perform leak and function tests on analyzer and tubing systems, perform hydrostatic and pneumatic testing of tubing and pipe systems, lay out, fabricate and install soft and hard drawn copper tubing, stainless steel and associate fittings, perform layout and mounting of panel instruments and devices and instrumentation systems, as well as other duties as assigned.

Location: Cantonment, FL

Position Type: Evaluation Hire

Pay: up to $22 per hour, DOE

Schedule:  Monday – Thursday, 6AM – 4:30PM

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read and interpret blueprints (layout drawings, tubing schematics, PID, etc.)
• Must be able to use all appropriate measurement devices (tape, square, level, etc.)
• Must be familiar with the use of test equipment: VOM, Loop Simulator, pressure testers, and other instrumentation for testing.
• Must be able to use power and hand tools
• Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
