Job Functions & Responsibilities:
Sales Focused -- Uses Star’s Selling Process to meet and exceed monthly Sales, qualify and evaluate customer’s needs and budget
Motivated -- Utilizes Sales Goal Tracker to track daily sales goals, asks for business and referrals; Uses Star Success Planner to drive sales and KPIs performance; Meets with Sales Manager/Store Manager for daily, weekly and monthly coaching
Knowledgeable -- Subject Matter Expert in product knowledge, bedding, protection, and credit offers.
Excellent Communicator – Uses top-notch communication skills (both written and verbal) to return calls, follow up with customers and write thank you notes to potential client to foster and develop new business relationships; Conducts telephone prospecting and schedules required number of appointments for prospect days.
Solutions Oriented -- Problem solve through drawing floor plans, furniture selection, window treatment, and fabric coordination
Professionalism – Exemplifies Star Core Values, maintains professionalism in all situations and follows all Star policies and procedures
Skills & Specifications:
2 years of experience in a retail sales environment, preferably within a furniture sales environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of merchandise and its locations
Ability to communicate and write in English
