We are currently seeking a Board-Certified Critical Care physician for a growing hospital 30 minutes west of Atlanta GA. WellStar Douglas Hospital has won the Leapfrog Top Hospital for 3 years and is one of the top-ranked Community Value hospitals in the nation. The position is for expansion of an established multi-facility Urology practice.
Shifts: 7 days on 7 days off
Hours: 10 hours/day in the hospital (4p-2a or 8p-6a) 2 additional hours on call
Facility: Provide critical care coverage in the ICU and step down unit for a 108 bed hospital with 16 bed ICU
Responsibilities: Ages 14 and up
Procedures: Central lines, Arterial lines, chest tubes and intubation
Volume: 10-15 patients per day
This position is available for either permanent or temporary roles. The physician will be contracted directly with WellStar and will report to the WellStar Medical group.
