Product Information Specialist

Description:

The Product Information Specialist will support a cohesive website experience by ensuring that all new and existing product titles, descriptions, specifications, promotions, and messages within the Product Information Management system and brand and ecommerce website are following established company templates and industry best practices. Strong attention to detail is required to ensure that all information is accurate, complete, and easy for customers to understand.

Position Responsibilities:
Accurately enter all product content into product management database for existing and new skus.
Validate all obtained data to ensure accuracy before publishing on the website
Improve item level data quality by implementing data audits to all categories by routinely cleaning up and removing old SKUs, organize spreadsheets when necessary
Assign related and associated products to equipment skus to publish online
Create and organize product data for bundled product templates and import files
Review and edit supersede list daily for adds, deletes and changes
Validate & assign product placement into appropriate taxonomy structure
Ensure that the website is up-to-date and accurate with respect to images, promotions, and products on a day-to-day basis
Work with E-Commerce Development Manager on a daily basis to identify and prioritize product category updates
Work with Product Data Management resource to ensure standards and processes within Product Information Management tools
Research websites, technical guides and various other systems to gather data needs for product attributes, content, and images
Create and update SEO content within product titles, descriptions, and metadata
Continually monitor the sites to identify any systemic issues that could challenge customer experience
Analyze, gather details, and report product issues, trends, concerns, and suggestions
Responsible for maintaining a high level of professionalism and working to establish a positive rapport within every contact
Complete other assignments and special projects as required

Position Requirements:
Minimum years of experience: 3
Education: Bachelor's degree (Business)
Advanced level expertise with Microsoft Excel
Strong time management skills to work individually and meet deadlines
Highly motivated person who can multitask and prioritize, but knows when to escalate issues or ask for help
Extremely detail oriented and able to ensure work product is accurate.
Adaptable to changing prioritizes and flexible to urgent issues
Strong written and oral communication skills
Strong organizational skills
A passion for high-quality content
