If you share our belief in the power of people and our passion for human-centric innovation, you will thrive together with brilliant, like-minded colleagues who are committed to making a true difference?Plant Quality Engineer (PQE)PurposeThe PQE is an operational role to support production in securing Built in Quality in the production processes.ConcernedPlant QualityAuthorityTo escalate risks in the production process that can jeopardize the quality and customer satisfaction.To initiate actions due to internal and/or external risks and quality deviationsTo take decisions about temporary short-term actions to assure quality in production.ResponsibilityResponsible for implementing and maintaining Quality Operating System (QOS) related procedures, methods and tools in production areas.Support the production teams to build quality in the production process; focus on preventionTo support "Best Launches" by early involvement in car programs build series, focusing risk mitigation of process conditionsContribute with a Quality view on product and process solutions in running changes and/or major process changes (e.g. takt time, new shift etc.)Support with problem solving expertiseParticipate in Quality-networkGovern/audit execution of control plan; secure updating of FMEA when applicableSupport and follow up of containment actionsSupport kick-off, pre-meetingSupervise defined quality assurance activitiesCompetence RequirementsKnowledge about the Quality Operating System/BMSKnowledge from manufacturing process and process conditions required for qualityKnowledge of customer and standard demandsSkills in practical problem solvingDemonstrate every day built in quality behaviorStrong ability to motivate, coach and encourage peopleAbility to plan, lead and control activitiesFluent in local and English language, spoken and writtenKnowledge in different Quality and IT toolsWho are we?Everything we do starts with people.
