- Other info: Position rotates between main hospital and outpatient clinics, with a mix of day/night shifts.
The Registered Nurse will be responsible for supporting the care of patients with behavioral health needs on inpatient medical units, emergency department, and both on- and off-campus ambulatory clinics. Responsibilities include:
- Coordinating with patients and their families to develop effective care plans.
- Responding to and deescalating acute behavioral health crises.
- Educating staff on caring for patients with behavioral health needs.
- Rotating between different roles on the team including providing proactive behavioral health care, managing acute behavioral events, and staffing medical units.
To qualify, you must have:
- A BSN.
- Minimum 1 year of psychiatric nursing experience.
- 1 year of experience working with children with behavioral health needs.
