Job Description

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will specify, design and implement major changes to existing software architecture. Define project needs. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to ensure consistency, testability and portability across products in general.

Provide leadership and expertise in the development of new products/services/processes, frequently operating at the leading edge of technology. Recommends and justifies major changes to existing products/services/processes. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience.

Summary:

Own the definition and delivery of key functional capabilities for Oracle-NetSuite's products supporting our Healthcare customers. Work closely with customers, vertical and horizontal product managers, and other key internal and external stakeholders within the Healthcare vertical to understand product needs. Lead a cross-functional scrum team to create and manage feature backlog, create user stories and oversee the execution of your plans by making smart, decisive tradeoffs using data-driven analysis and sound judgment

Responsibilities:

  • Fully understand the compliance, confidentiality, statutory, operational, and organizational needs of Healthcare organizations to support the current functionality and define the future needs for this target market in the product

  • Work with Sales and other teams to define NetSuites Healthcare offerings and deliverables to meet the needs of the market and our customers

  • Be the recognized expert on Healthcare versions, features and functionality to support Sales, Professional Services and other customer-facing teams in meeting the needs of our customers and prospects

  • Support positioning and training activities on new features for your solutions across all internal teams including Sales, PS, Support, SuiteSuccess and others

  • Presentations to individual customers and at customer events may be required. You should be able to do these with confidence, knowledge and panache

  • Draft Healthcare Leading Practices together with the appropriate SuiteSuccess Team

  • Future roles and responsibilities may include:

  • Lead the creation, definition and update of Business Use Cases and User Stories in collaboration with other Product Managers and our engineering teams

  • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver features in an agile manner and with optimal resourcing strategies; ensure that product requirements are well understood by development and QA teams

  • Be the Agile/Scrum product owner and perform the required duties including backlog creation, grooming, sprint demos, sprint reporting, sprint execution, translation, etc. for the planned feature offerings

  • Collaborate with customers, UX team, and subject matter experts during the design and development of a feature to deliver exceptional user experience and delight our customers

  • Ad hoc assignments and projects as requested by Vertical Product Management

Qualifications/Skills:

  • 10+ years of Healthcare experience ideally within Product Management within an Agile Development Team a distinct advantage or strong relevant Healthcare business experience

  • Knowledge of Healthcare finance, accounting and billing practices is required

  • Good understanding of cloud ERP applications and technologies, and their role in the efficient operation of a modern Healthcare organization highly desirable

  • Product Management knowledge around product lifecycle, processes, and best practices, and ability to teach to others highly desirable

  • Passion for and ability to understand customer needs and building products and offerings with exceptional user experience and ability to delight users is a must

  • Excellent communication skills a must

Travel: (required)

  • Domestic travel may be required but would not exceed 20%

  • International travel may be required to perform future responsibilities of the role and a passport is therefore required

Range and benefit information provided in this posting are specific to the stated location(s)

New York City Pay Range: from $127,400 to $256,500 per annum; eligible for bonus, equity, and may be eligble for compensation deferral.

Colorado Pay Range: from $127,400 to $243,000 per annum; eligible for bonus and equity.

Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience and market conditions, as well as reflect Oracles differing products, industries and lines of business.

Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.
