Technical Sales Engineer – Transportation Systems


         You will be using your successful technical sales experience to:

  • Be a part of the revenue generation team responsible for exponential growth in new territories and products.

  • Develop strong product knowledge and promote our solutions to a client base of municipal, county and state transportation agencies as well as transportation consultants.

  • Solve complex transportation management challenges through a consultative process with other engineers.

  • Provide technical presentations and demonstrations.

  • Ensure customer relations are strengthened, and new relationships developed and fostered.

  • Identify opportunities to increase value to assigned customers through the application of our software and hardware solutions.

  • Research and follow-up on potential projects and leads.

  • Review and prepare cost proposals, technical solutions through the RFP/RFQ process.

  • Negotiate contracts.

  • Account and Customer Relationship Management.

  • Participate at trade shows, conferences and local professional associations events.


Do you have what it takes?

  • Technical sales experience with process control, SCADA or communications systems experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Client, Client, etc.) to the public sector (State, County or Municipal government)

  • Ex-Military with an engineering degree or technical work experience with electronics and/or computer systems.

  • Bachelor degree required, Transportation/Traffic/Civil Engineering or Electrical Engineering with transportation experience. 

  • Willing to travel to work with agencies, integrators and consultants in Louisiana, Mississippi and Arkansas.

  • Thorough understanding of Transportation Engineering concepts

  • Ability to develop technical enterprise software/hardware solutions

  • All should have a passion for technical sales and customer relations.
