Candidates must either come from investment banking, corporate development OR private equity (M&A). Pay depends on experience.

Position: Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions
Reports to: VP of Corporate Development
Description of Duties:
• New Business Development for Acquisitions:
•Maintaining regular contact with target companies
•Screening target deals for potential acquisition opportunities
•Preparing draft pro formas for likely candidates for internal review
•Tracking all deals in process and reporting progress to senior management
• Acquisitions Analysis and Presentation:
•Preparing summary level financial operating projections based on historical statements and market data reports
•Preparing detailed financial projections as necessary
•Creating basic underwriting models (to determine IRR and Profits)
•Writing “Deal Memos” for presentation to potential investment partners
•Participation in presentation of deals to potential investment partners
•Working with lenders on debt placement as necessary
• New Business Team Support:
•Preparing pro formas for new management contracts or development pitches
•Writing market assessments, property profiles or other “pitch” materials
•Any other related projects as requested
• 5-10+ years of experience with complex financial modeling / M&A
• Mergers experience is a must;
• Extremely proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong in both verbal and written communication
