Life Insurance Planning Consultant - Director
The ability to work across the lines of business and across functions is paramount in delivering our world-class Wealth Management platform.
The candidate must be familiar with the insurance industry with extensive knowledge in life insurance, LTC, DI, Property and Casualty, premium finance and Private Placement insurance.
Your responsibilities would include:• responsible for building new and maintaining existing relationships with advisors and field leaders to increase adoption/sales of insurance solutions • conduct calls with financial advisors and clients on insurance products acting as their specialist • collaborate with advisors to include insured solutions as part of a financial plan for clients with the ability to educate advisors on delivering insurance solutions• provide proactive and reactive advice for advisors and field leaders on insurance products and structuring• maintain an effective relationships with internal and external insurance company partners to help drive business and increase activity • responsible for creating and/or delivering content through various forums including main stage speaking events, UBS studio recordings, regional conferences, or on-going trainings• act as Head of insurance Distribution for the firm’s 3rd party general agency networkYour teamThis role resides in the Insured Solutions Group, a subset of the Advisory and investment products group within UBS Wealth Management Americas.
You will join a team of insurance and annuity specialists, recommending, and advising advisors and field leaders on insurance solutions.Your expertise• have strong insurance sales experience • a Bachelor degree• possess 10+ years of experience in Life Insurance• possess excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills required to effectively communicate with a variety of audiences, including financial advisors and HNW/UHNW clients• possess excellent relationship building, written and verbal communication skills• have the ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced team environment• a team player, ready to contribute to, learn from, and thoughtfully challenge oneself and others as a member of the Insured Solutions Team• willing to travel to key markets when necessary (up to 25%) Required Licensing:• FINRA 7 and 66 (or 63 & 65) required• CFP, CLU Preferred• Active Life & Health insurance licenseAbout usUBS is the world’s largest and the only truly global wealth manager.
