Responsibilities:
As a Junior to Mid-Level Associate, your role will be crucial in supporting our Capital Markets team. Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in the structuring, drafting, and negotiation of a variety of complex financial transactions, including securitization and capital market transactions.
2. Conducting comprehensive legal research and analysis to support transaction execution and to advise clients on potential risks and issues.
3. Interacting with clients to provide timely, high-quality advice and support on all aspects of structured finance transactions.
4. Collaborating closely with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and to contribute to the development and implementation of improved work processes.
5. Staying current on all relevant legal and regulatory developments in the field of structured finance and capital markets, and advising clients accordingly.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for this role will have:
1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in the legal field, with a strong focus on structured finance, capital markets, and securitization transactions.
3. Excellent knowledge of and ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.
4. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle complex legal and financial issues.
5. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and team members at all levels.
6. A proactive, results-oriented approach, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. A commitment to maintaining the highest ethical and professional standards.
