Graphic User Interface DesignerCompensation:
We are seeking a UX/UI Designer to join our User Experience team. This position will support an independent federal government agency in Alexandria, VA. Up to two days of remote work per week may be available at the agency and team leader’s discretion.
The successful candidate will be part of a User Experience team responsible for the creation and execution of testing plans and usability approaches for various internal and external client websites. This role is responsible for the creation of high-fidelity wireframes and designs for use in user testing and presentations. The UX/UI designer works closely with stakeholders to understand their values, needs, and abilities and creates designs with a focus on usability and visual as well as interactive design.
• Certification or Degree in User Experience, Human Factors, Human-Computer Interface Design, or equivalent experience.
Five years of web design experience, including creating low and high-fidelity wireframes, prototypes, and designs for user testing and stakeholder presentations using Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Balsamiq, UXPin, or similar.
• Three years of hands-on experience organizing and conducting usability tests, compiling results, and presenting recommendations to stakeholders.

• Experience working with Agile teams
