RPAS Tester
Role: RPAS Tester
Primary Skills: Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS)/Testing
Role Description: The RPAS Tester must have at least 5+ years of experience. The RPAS Tester must have strong experience in architecture, programming, and testing of applications in Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS) - Retail Demand Forecasting (RDF) and Advanced Inventory Planning (AIP).
Required Experience and Skills:
- Strong experience in Oracle - RPAS particularly in RDF and AIP – version 15.0
- Strong experience in Oracle - RPAC and creating automated tests for RDF application
- Strong Retail domain experience to understand the business requirement
- AIX knowledge – kernel, OS, scripting nuances, buffers, filesystems, issue review and correction, error report interpretation
- K93 (Korn shell 93, not just 88 experiences, there are nuances with 93 in play at Kroger)
- Extensive work experience in UNIX/AIX on shell and Korn-Shell scripting
- Troubleshooting techniques and strong analytical skills
- Very strong verbal and written communication skills
- Experience working in Agile and DevOps managed projects
- Experience working with GitHub, Harness, Artifactory and other continuous integration tools is a plus
- Experience with RPAC is a plus
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or related IT discipline; or equivalent experience.
- Oracle RPAS Technical and Functional Knowledge (retail industry expertise)
- Expertise in AIP and RDF modules within Oracle RPAS
- Working with Oracle development tools including PLSQL, SQL,
- Development with SQL and PL/SQL best practices including OA framework
- Working independently with limited general supervision.
Education: Any/Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Information Technology or another related field or Equivalent
Experience: Minimum 5+ years of experience
