Job Summary
The Pool Supervisor facilitates a superior dining experience for Ansley Golf Club members and their guests. The Pool Supervisor assists the Pool Manager in planning, organizing, directing and coordinating all Pool Service Staff activities to ensure efficient operation of department. The Pool Supervisor assembles, serves, and delivers food and beverage items using appropriate safety and sanitation methods, while adhering to the highest standards of professional etiquette.
Job Tasks (Duties)
• Adheres to uniform standards while on property.
• Reports to duty as scheduled.
• Ensures equipment/service area cleaned as indicated by side work sheet at beginning and end of shift.
• Checks that all front of house dining areas are cleaned as applicable prior to meal service times.
• Maintains the highest standard of cleanliness and neatness in front of the house dining areas.
• Ensures service areas are stocked and maintained with all supplies needed for shift.
• Memorizes daily Food and Beverage specials.
• Greets Members and their guests in a warm and friendly manner.
• Informs Members and staff of specials and is knowledgeable about menu and wine list.
• Ensures food is properly delivered and cleared of any unessential items from tables.
• Ensures checks are presented for signature and maintains accurate member checks.
• Checks out servers at the end of their shift ensuring all closing side work is complete and settlement reports are in order.
• Assists with training team members.
• Assists co-workers with Member service. Serving our Members is a "section-less" job.
• Consistently maintains and expands food and beverage knowledge specifically as related to the Club Menus and Offerings.
• Completes other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Current pursuit of a degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
• Strong customer service orientation.
• Good communication skills with strong organizational ability.
• Must have the ability to work as a team member.

• Continuous standing and walking.
• Frequent lifting, bending, reaching and pulling.
• Occasional sitting; exposure to chemicals.
• Must be able to work in an outdoor environment.
Position Classification and Expected Hours of Work
This is a seasonal position. The assigned hours for this position vary each week, but include working on holidays and weekends.
