The base salary for this role is $43,208 to $64,812. Please note the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for this position only and in the geographical location noted.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

Effectively and succinctly communicate with customers during the initial face to face greeting and/or on the phone
Effectively and succinctly communicate with a centralized scheduling team
Conduct a physical site survey using a variety of company provided tools and equipment including measuring devices, hand tools, ladders, personal protective equipment, etc.
Document the project site with photos using a company provided digital camera and a smart phone application
Fill out, by hand, paper site surveying sheets needed by the SunPower Engineering Department to produce permit-ready documents, uploading data to the SunPower project management system
Perform site survey activities with a team and independently
Attend mandatory training sessions on new products, installation methodology, and safety

Physical Demands and Working Conditions :

Must be able to lift heavy objects (50 lbs. or more) in addition to climbing ladders and working in high places
Work in outdoor conditions: inclement weather, heat and humidity, cold and freezing temperatures, and exposure to poisonous plants, insects, and allergens
Visual acuity to drive motor vehicles and mobile equipment and to read printed and electronic documents

Minimum Qualifications:

High School or Trade School degree in a discipline related to construction or building sciences
1-2 years of related experience
OR equivalent combination of education and experience
Basic knowledge of residential electrical and structural systems
Proficiency with smart phone applications and digital cameras
Basic computer skills including the ability to copy files and communicate via email
Ability to organize and maintain paper documents and electronic photos and files
Excellent written communication skills are required in order to prepare survey documents
Must hold and maintain a valid Driver's License and have a personal vehicle to travel between job sites - no use of motorcycles or scooters during business hours

Preferred Qualifications:

Associates degree
2+ years of experience
OSHA 10 Certification
Strong understanding of NEC codes with emphasis on residential PV installations
Proficient in the installation of grid-tied and micro inverter applications.
Excellent customer service skills
