We are looking for people to help fill these unique part-time direct support professional positions where a few hours of your time makes a huge impact on someone's life!

Some of What You Will Be Doing:

• Helping the individual to choose, understand, and learn life skills such as cooking, household chores, using public transportation
• Assisting individuals to advocate for themselves in their community and adapt to social settings
• Providing support and transportation as needed in your personal vehicle to activities within the community ranging from trips to the local library to the grocery store to a neighborhood block party

What You Need to Succeed:

• Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record, required
• Clear criminal record, background checks and drug test in accordance with state requirements, required
• Must be 18 years or older
• One (1) Year of experience in supporting individuals with autism and intellectual disabilities, preferred
• A creative mindset with a willingness to learn and think outside the box
• Patience and a genuine, caring attitude
• Great interpersonal and communication skills

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS WITH POSSIBLE HOURS RANGING FROM 4 HRS P/WK TO 21 HRS P/WK SO WORKS WITH MANY SCHEDULES!

Must have personal and reliable means of transportation and be willing to use the vehicle for commuting during shift.

Hourly rate:  $14.36
