Job Summary:

As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, the Recruiter will be responsible for recruiting and staffing activities related to the selection, hiring and on-boarding of talent into CF Industries, Inc, working to strengthen the organization’s internal capabilities and ensure it has the talent to meet current and future business needs. Engineering will be a key area of focus.

Job Description:


  • Performs full life cycle recruitment for designated positions including developing sourcing strategies, posting positions, actively sourcing candidates and leading assessment/interview processes
  • Provides knowledge of current market trends as it relates to talent, and continues to build the talent pipeline to have the right capability for driving current and anticipated needs
  • Actively sources passive talent using creative recruiting techniques including but not limited to job board management, social media, cold calling, networking events, engagement with industry organizations, etc
  • Partners with hiring managers to develop and execute sourcing and recruiting strategies to attract a diverse slate of talent
  • Serve as a liaison to Talent Acquisition between Human Resources, Hiring Managers, Vendors and External Customers
  • Continually reviews recruiting process for effectiveness and ROI, providing feedback as necessary
  • Partners with HR Business Partners to assist with the on-boarding of new associates
  • Actively manages Applicant Tracking System (ATS) documentation and details throughout the process for compliance and reporting

Internal Controls:

Understands and complies with established departmental processes and procedures designed to support internal controls efforts.  Identifies and brings to the attention of department management internal controls deficiencies, providing recommended solutions.

Successful Incumbents will have:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in full life cycle recruiting.  Must have an emphasis in engineering recruitment and a basic understanding of engineering and engineering principles
  • Undergraduate Degree in related field or relevant work experience
  • Highly motivated, energetic, and able to work in a fast paced multi-functional environment
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of Human Resources practices, procedures, principles and strategies
  • Experience in ATS utilization, Workday experience a plus
  • Experience in a corporate and/or manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Time management and organizational skills; including the ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks with competing demands
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a team environment
  • Interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and staff with a high level of emotional intelligence
  • Knowledge of overall Company operations and appropriate business environments is a plus
  • Must possess high degree of business ethics and confidentiality

Position Scope/Contribution:

This position is responsible for sourcing and screening talent.  This includes identifying external and internal talent and working closely with the business to fulfill their hiring needs. Some travel may be required.
