What you will do

  • This position is accountable for selling support in the National Accounts department, which includes job take-offs, application engineering, technical assistance to national account employees and customers, and coverage of architects, engineers, developers, builders, National Accounts, and utilities.
How you will do it

  • Provides selling support through technical assistance to co-workers, customers, and others who may influence the purchase decision.
  • Performs take-offs and coordinating jobs for bid to increase sales and decrease duplication of work.
  • Calls on architects, engineers, builders, developers, utilities, and national accounts as directed by the Sales Manager.
  • Provides technical assistance or information for favorable product specification.
  • Responds to calls to architects, engineers, and national accounts.
  • Works closely with Order Management Team to deliver exemplary customer satisfaction requirements.
  • Responsible for keeping Manager, National Accounts Applications & Design informed of progress and account status.  Includes member(s) of the management team if necessary to keep the sales process on track.
  • Frequently reviews account list with supervisor in search of those accounts that may meet the key and target criteria.  This account reclassification process allows focus on customers with growth potential.
  • Makes customer visits as required.
  • Issues special quotations and follow-up until closed.
  • Assists Manager, National Accounts Applications & Design in training and ensures support resources are in place to develop salespersons capable of selling the full scope of bundled offerings available.
  • Other duties may be assigned
What we look for           

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent HVAC Industry experience.
  • Entry level; previous internship or work experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of Sales & Marketing, and comprehensive knowledge of the principles of air conditioning
  • Travel requirements less than 10%.
