FINANCE MANAGER/SITE CONTROLLER in West Lafayette, IN

The Finance Manager/Site Controller is an integral part of the AMRI team, contributing to our success by delivering financial reporting, analysis & business insights to enhance AMRI business operating performance.

Principal financial advisor and business partner to the site leadership team and General Manager of the site.
Provide site management with timely and valuable financial insights that support business decision making at the site level.
Perform monthly accounting and financial reporting activities for the site including revenue reporting/recognition, margin reporting and variance analysis.
Lead the development and coordination of the annual operating plan for the site. Monitor performance and initiate corrective action as required. Drive adherence to monthly/quarterly/annual financial goals.
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual forecasts as required to support the site leadership team and meet all corporate requirements for the financial reporting and forecasting processes.
Develop and document standard financial processes. Improve the efficiency of the finance function through a focus on process improvement.
Direct responsibility for maintaining the appropriate environment of internal financial controls in all aspects of the site’s financial reporting. Ensure the consistent implementation of AMRI’s accounting policies, accountable for the accuracy of site financial results in accordance with US GAAP.
Qualifications and background to be successful in this role:
5-10 years of financial management experience with demonstrated success. Manufacturing (cost accounting) and commercial experience strongly preferred. Undergraduate degree in accounting or finance required. Masters degree preferred.
Knowledge of US accounting regulations and company accounting policies and practices, and unquestioned integrity in the application of such standards.
Strong business analysis, financial planning and reporting skills that generate business insights that add measurable value.
Experience in Financial reporting software such as Oracle and Hyperion Essbase/Smartview. Strong proficiency in Excel.
