At Freddie Mac, you will do important work to build a better housing finance system and you'll be part of a team helping to make homeownership and rental housing more accessible and affordable across the nation.

Employees, contingent workers and visitors are no longer required to show proof of vaccination to be on-site. Effective January 2023, Freddie Mac's hybrid work arrangement is 3 days in the office (specifically Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday).

The Investment & Capital Markets (I&CM) Business Initiatives Director is responsible for leading the change management team to implement the division's strategic business priorities and changes to existing offerings and strategies. Our Impact:

The I&CM Business Initiatives team is responsible for facilitating the implementation of I&CM's business priorities and change management activities in a well-controlled manner and in compliance with governance requirements. Additionally, the team coordinates I&CM's evaluation of risks and impacts for projects in other divisions.

Your Impact:

* Supervise the I&CM Business Initiatives team, establish and manage priorities and resourcing for all internal change management activities and deliver high-quality work products

* Collaborate with the I&CM business areas to identify and monitor execution of change projects

* Maintain a well-controlled governance process for managing I&CM projects of all sizes

* Manage cross-divisional business and/or technology projects in support of divisional strategies and objectives

* Oversee I&CM risk and impact assessments for new initiatives across the firm and ensure that I&CM is appropriately engaged in cross-divisional initiatives

* Serve as the divisional representative for corporate new initiatives and governance

Qualifications:

* 12+ years of related professional experience; 4+ years management experience

* Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred

* Capital markets and/or GSE knowledge or experience preferred

* Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead a team, both as a direct leader as well as across functional areas

* Shown success in managing business initiatives through implementation in a well-governed and controlled manner

* Experienced communication and negotiation skills

* Strong planning and execution skills and ability to influence others

* Ability to facilitate innovative thinking to solve problems and make decisions

* Proactive and forward-thinking problem-solver with sound judgment and the ability to deliver value to the business
