Providespreoperative nursing care to all patients in a safe, cost competitive,professional environment. Emphasizesutilization of the nursing process, patient and family education andself-directed personal/professional growth. Actions are in accordance with the Indiana Nurse Practice Act andEstablished SMH Nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
Education: BSN preferred
Required Experience: 2 years experiencein OR; one or more areas of clinical expertise.
Licensure: Registered Nursein Indiana; ACLS & PALS certification
Skills: Goodcommunication; team participation
Equipment: Electricalequipment, air equipment, instrumentation, or bed
