Harris Regional Hospital
Installs and maintains interior and exterior building wall finishes, with paint coatings, wall coverings, plaster, drywall and other repair materials, removes and installs wall trim and cove base materials, or other accessory items to complete the work professionally and safely.
Installs drop ceilings and floor products, hand rails, corner guards and doors in various kinds of wall assemblies. Constructs wall segments or infills walls as area functions change. Works with Facility Department customers schedules and adjusts work hours to accomplish projects to complete tasks with least disruption to customer department.
Performs preventative and corrective maintenance of equipment, systems and structures throughout the facility. Rotates weekend on-call with other Facility Department staff.
Work responsibilities may involve access to medication storage areas to perform core job functions.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Five years’ experience as a Painter, with Three - Five years of experience as a Carpenter or equivalent background experience desired.
Experience in cosmetic and structural repairs is desired.
Driving while on business is required. Must possess a valid driver's license and a motor vehicle record that is acceptable by the company's auto liability insurance carrier.
