- Candidate must possess at least 24 credit hours in accounting, law, business, finance, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, marketing, quantitative methods, and organization and management OR a FAC-C OR DAWIA Level II in Contracting Certification AND 4 years' experience in conducting comprehensive acquisition support activities with a working knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR).
- Candidate shall be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint; familiar with FEDBiz Ops, CPARS/PPIRS, EPLS, SAM, and GSA eBuy. Experience with VA’s electronic Contract Management System (eCMS) is preferred but not required.
- Candidate shall have excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to conduct comprehensive research and analysis of technical and cost data; ability to read and interpret acquisition policy, regulations, and directives; and ability to provide clear leadership, technical direction, and guidance to all lower level acquisition personnel.
- Candidate must be able to obtain a public trust clearance.
