Overview

The Leader, Wholesale Residential Plumber Partnerships will help drive the overall sales activity and strategy, for local market wholesale and plumbing partners. Reporting to the “Sr. Market Leader”, the person in this role will collaborate with key internal stakeholders across all business functions and teams to drive product awareness, service, drive job specifications, inventory, and execute growth driving sales strategies across all LIXIL product categories and brands.


Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and increase sales and brand loyalty by calling on wholesale and plumbing partners and targets.
  • Relationship Development – Services, maintains, and increases existing business by building and cultivating professional, progressive, and trusted relationships with our customers.
  • Engage with customer in the development of joint business plans to drive customer profitability; displace competitive brands; and develop and lead the business review with customers.
  • Own local market wholesale and plumber relationships. Negotiate rebate structures and purchase agreements and drive new product specifications.
  • Removing obstacles to sales success, building processes and tools to assist sales, defining wholesale partners and securing success by managing and servicing partnerships on a daily basis.
  • Develop, execute and monitor business plans, that includes forecasting sales and profit targets, identification of product potential and gaps, and displacement of competitive brands, to effectively achieve individual and team financial targets that drive sustainable growth.
  • Assist with coordination and attend trade shows in regions.
  • Work closely with the local, regional, and national teams to convert new distribution and follow up on engineering leads.
  • Manage own sales budget and maintains discipline to stay within assigned sales and expense budgets on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
  • Promote organization’s products in formal presentations and meetings.
  • Develop new project opportunities through relationship building with quote desk, sales, and installers.
  • Maintain accurate relationship, product placement & project details with updated developments within project management database (SalesForce CRM).
  • Timely manage and communicate across all parties to ensure successful sales implementation of programs including updating sales collateral, product technical data and information, samples, mockups and proposals.
  • Coordinate and forecast needs with internal and external stakeholders, business partners, distribution partners, and installation contractors to ensure successful realization of local project execution.
  • Prioritize both strategic initiatives and specific sales opportunities.
  • Actively represent and promote LIXIL Brands to the community through hosting and attendance of local events.
  • Keep management advised of competitors’ activities including price increases, NPD, customer share of wallet gains.
  • Meet assigned targets for profitable sales growth and share of wallet for LIXIL products.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of building materials / construction / commercial projects sales experience. Plumbing experience a bonus.
  • 2+ years of proven capacity to interact with multiple levels within all faces with commercial industry projects.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to build and leverage cross-functional relationships internally/externally to support customer’s go-to-market strategy.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate and formally present.
  • Knowledge of consultative selling processes and techniques.
  • Self-directed and results-oriented with a track record of improving results.
  • Team player, able to work in a matrix environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Outlook and CRM tools including Salesforce.com.

Hiring Range

The Hiring Salary Range for this position is $67,000.00-$90,000.00 annually.

(Salary offer to be determined by the applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, location, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.)

Other Compensation (if applicable): This role will be eligible to participate in the annual Sales incentive Plan of 22%.
