Join the creative powerhouse behind renowned brands like Poo~Pourri and Supernatural at The Ninth, a vibrant new incubator and collective agency spearheaded by Suzy Batiz. We are currently seeking a skilled Software Engineer who specializes in QA Testing Processes.
~THE JOB:
We are seeking an experienced software tester to join our creative development team at The Ninth.
As a software tester, you will oversee quality assurance activities associated with software analysis. This includes developing test plans, performing exploratory testing and executing functional and regression testing. You will work closely with engineering, product management and support teams to ensure the product is ready for release.
- Conduct thorough software testing, analyze data, write test cases and communicate with developers.
- Checking software functionality on different operating systems, browsers and devices to ensure that the software is up to the standard and meets the users' needs.
- Testing software for security vulnerabilities and providing input on improving the company's product solutions.
- Communicate the results of software testing efforts to stakeholders and suggest areas of improvement.
- Understand functional testing, smoke testing, performance, load testing, security testing, API testing and end-to-end testing
- Experience web technologies, software development and testing using programming languages
- Experience in working with various quality assurance testing tools
- Code automated tests using specialized software platforms
- Use agile workflows using project management tools
- Understand quality assurance management tools
