Job Description

I am currently representing a Large Logistics company in the North Jersey area. Our client is looking to fill a Customer Service Representative position.

Responsibilities include:

  • This employee will be the liaison between their internal warehouse/ customer service department and their client's vendors.
  • When they get into the office they will need to check on the freights going out/ coming in for the day and responding to all emails/ contacts.
  • First point of customer contact for general inquiries, like product availability, pricing, shipment scheduling etc.
  • Check all tracking numbers to ensure accuracy Export and ship freight lists
  • Contacting/ setting up appointments with tracking companies i.e. Fedex or UPS to pick up freights)
