Medical Director
Pet Emergency & Referral Center is looking for a Medical Director to help lead our growing practice in Palm Beach Gardens, FL!
At PERC, you will be joining an experienced group of ER doctors, and specialists in Internal Medicine, Medical Oncology and Surgery with a fantastic support team overall. The Medical Director's primary responsibility is to ensure the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and comprehensive veterinary care to our patients, while maintaining a positive, professional, and supportive work environment for the veterinary team. The Medical Director is responsible for upholding the mission, vision, and values of the organization within the hospital. The Medical Director works in close partnership with the hospital director to ensure the hospital's success by acting as a medical subject matter expert, overseeing the entire medical team, and driving operational excellence. A Medical Director must maintain awareness of advances in veterinary medicine and take part in yearly CE in topics related to hospital leadership, management, or training and development.
This position will consist of 25% Administrative duties and 75% primary clinical duties.
