Our client is a global quantitative trading firm. The firm is committed to developing its people, providing a collaborative and supportive work environment, and delivering exceptional returns. They are seeking a talented and motivated Quantitative Researcher & Trader to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing mid-frequency (minutes to days) futures trading strategies, leveraging advanced quantitative techniques and data analysis. Our client offers a highly competitive compensation package, including a base salary, performance-based bonus, and other benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HFT and/or MFT futures trading strategies, leveraging advanced quantitative techniques and data analysis
- Conduct research and analysis to identify new trading opportunities and optimize existing strategies
- Build and maintain trading models and algorithms, using programming languages such as C++, Python, or Java
- Continuously monitor and evaluate trading performance and implement improvements as necessary
- Collaborate with other traders and analysts to develop and refine trading strategies
- Manage risk exposure and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies
- Communicate trading ideas and strategies to other team members and senior management
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Quantitative Researcher and/or Trader specializing in HFT and/or MFT strategies at a reputable trading firm (max holding period 2 days)
- Strong knowledge of relevant markets and related products, including algorithmic trading, statistical arbitrage, and market microstructure
- Proven track record of success in generating profits through HFT and/or MFT trading strategies
- Excellent analytical and quantitative skills, with a strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and statistical analysis
- Extensive programming skills in languages such as C++, Python, Java, and/or Rust
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic trading environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a STEM field, such as mathematics, computer science, or finance; from a top university, with top grades/marks
