Email Marketing Senior Specialist
EMAIL MARKETING SENIOR SPECIALIST | JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
At Magnolia, the Email Marketing Senior Specialist is responsible for defining, executing, and testing owned marketing campaigns including email, SMS, and push messages to retain and engage our audience. The Email Marketing Senior Specialist builds and maintains strong relationships between Magnolia and our customers and potential clients through email communication. This position works from Magnolia Headquarters in Waco, Texas. It reports to the Performance Marketing Manager and has no supervisory responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define email/text/push notification message deployment and ensure accurate and timely execution utilizing Salesforce Marketing Cloud or other leading ESPs.
- Recommend and execute email journey and segmentation building in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
- Define A/B testing practices including subject lines, dynamic content, email send time optimizations, post-click performance, and audiences.
- Conduct weekly, seasonal, and ad-hoc reporting and analytics for email/text/push notification channels, reporting out to internal marketing and cross-functional teams and continually optimizing based on target.
- Assist with forecasting models for CTR, journey traffic, post-click engagement, and revenue.
- Collaborate with IT, Ecommerce, and consulting teams for system enhancements, data connections, and delivery optimizations.
- Manage and segment email subscriber lists for targeted campaigns while developing tactics to convert dormant subscribers into highly engaged ones.
- Collaborate on post-click experience with Ecommerce, Merchandising, Marketing, and other cross-functional teams.
- Stay informed about email marketing best practices, regulations, and industry trends to ensure compliance and deliverability.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Hard skills: Proficiency in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (or similar CRM), Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and similar products from Google Suite required.
ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university preferred.
- 2-4 years of experience with a related degree, 4-7 years of experience with a non-related degree, or 5+ years of industry experience preferred.
- Experience with project management tools like Workfront/Asana and reporting tools like Adobe Analytics preferred.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
