For 19 years Home Instead Senior Care of Charlotte has enriched the lives of seniors in Mecklenburg County. We are currently seeking a Staffing Coordinator who has a passion for seniors to join our team. We are looking for an organized individual to join us in our mission to enhance the lives of aging adults and their families. This position involves supporting the business to ensure the all clients and CAREGiver needs are handled efficiently. This individual must be able to work in a fast-paced organization and possess excellent communication skills, be service-oriented and have the ability to work well independently.
Answer all incoming telephone calls live and respond to them as needed.
Communicate with CAREGivers and clients regarding scheduling as changes arise.
Fill open assignments with appropriate CAREGivers.
Effectively match and schedule caregivers with clients in new and ongoing assignments, ensuring that every shift is assigned in a timely manner, to the client’s satisfaction and with appropriate follow up with all parties.
Enter and maintain accurate client and caregiver records, including client/CAREGiver activities, progress, and communications between all parties.
Document all calls, changes and follow up needed for clients and CAREGivers.
Communicate effectively with staffing department and care managers about clients and CAREGivers.
Work with Client Care team to satisfy all client concerns in a timely manner.
Assist with 'on call' responsibilities when the need arises.
Ability to communicate well verbally and in writing
Organized; able to create and maintain systems that support effective communication between Client Care team members
Ability to anticipate challenges, initiate solutions and prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to demonstrate effective problem solving skills
Ability to demonstrate “customer first' prioritization of activities
Have a passion for seniors
