What you get to do every single day - Present and monitor forecasting reports - Drive monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and if any actions are required - Work closely with cross functional partners in Accounting and Operations to execute against plans - Enable effective Business Intelligence (BI) to provide forward-looking insight and decision support - Understand and explain internal and external drivers impacting performance and trending - Work with senior executives on strategic deep dives by developing financial models and insights on topics such as: Retention forecasts, Campaign Planning Tracking, return on investment of strategic investments, event tracking and execution, strategic resource allocation, and prioritization - Flexible individuals comfortable with large amounts of information, and adept at managing expectations - Endorse weekly, quarterly and annual Area/Segment-level Bookings as well as P L forecasting - Ensure business partners handle their resources by tracking monthly and quarterly performance through the comparison of actuals versus expectations - Analyze performance to date and assess potential risks and opportunities - Work closely with Accounting on the monthly and quarterly financial close processes
- 2+ years of experience in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role) - Prior knowledge in Spreadsheet and ERP system - Outstanding communication skills, excellent interpersonal skills, both oral and written, and ability to build as well as deliver effective presentations - Financial planning analysis (go-to-market experience suggested) - BA/BS degree in finance or a related field - Ability to effectively interact, verbally and in writing - Strong problem-solving skills - Microsoft Excel experience - Skill with Business Intelligence (BI) reporting tools required - Practical knowledge in problem solving through statistical analysis or with large data sets highly preferable (such as in derivatives, structured finance, or business analytics or in a similarly demanding and analytical role)
