Allow us to assist you in your job search! Robert Half Healthcare Practice is actively seeking Staff Accountants to play a vital role for our clients in San Francisco. Our reputable clients are expecting an experience self-starter who is able to multitask effectively. The Staff Accountant will be handling the day-to-day accounting functions, managing bank and general ledger reconciliations, reviewing and maintaining the accuracy of sub-ledgers and general ledger accounts, and preparing paperwork to support monthly financials for auditors and investors. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, reconciliation skills and advanced excel skills (vlookup and pivot tables). Main Responsibilities: • Day-to-day operational accounting - processing accounts payable and accounts receivable • Managing bank and general ledger reconciliations • Reviewing the overall accuracy of the sub-ledgers (cash, accounts receivable, and accounts payable and fixed assets) and intercompany general ledger accounts • Posting monthly, quarterly and yearly accruals • Maintaining the general ledger chart of accounts • Assisting with initial internal control evaluations • Assisting with budget preparation and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses • Preparing monthly work papers to support monthly financials for auditors and investors
